Ogham Alphabet Wishes

No one knows when or by whom the Ogham Alphabet was invented but myth attributes it to Ogmios the Celtic God of Speech and oral learning. The Alphabet consits of 22 letters signified by one or more lines or notches carved on a verticle line (as shown in the photo) along the edge of a standing stone. Ogham is read from the bottom upwards.

In the village of Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon, Ireland Ethel Kelly brings the ancient art of Ogham writing into designs and words that creat positive thinking and influence into any home decor.

Completely handmade from the paper to the frames and written in a language of long ago with grace and beauty. Offering combinations to hang alone or in a grouping. Written in calligraphy, Gaelic and English and translated into OGHAM.
